We are an interfaith retreat and conference center sponsored by the Ursuline Sisters for the purpose of assisting people in their spiritual and personal growth.

The center hosts retreats, meetings, and visiting groups as well as offering its own programs, retreats, and spiritual direction.

Grounded in an inclusive and prayerful expression of our Catholic heritage, our ministry of hospitality and programs is extended to individuals and groups seeking:

• A place for quiet, prayer and the presence of God

• A setting for building spiritual community

• A means of enhancing family life

• Personal wholeness

• An opportunity to grow educationally and culturally

• The promotion of justice, peace and environmental stewardship

Villa Maria is located in Frontenac, Minnesota, overlooking the Mississippi River and the bluffs of Wisconsin.
